- Mentorship Pairing Event -

On September 25, of 2017 C.F.M.S.A hosted the mentorship pairing between CFMSA students and the Minnesota Construction Association allowing students to network and be mentored on specific topics related to the construction world by industry professionals!

- Kraus Anderson Block Tour -

On October 16, of 2017 C.F.M.S.A toured the residential building that is part of the newly built Kraus Anderson Block located in Downtown Minneapolis. We discussed with the PM in charge of the project the main problems they have faced, and new futuristic features being implemented.  

- Quiz Bowl Champions - 

During the Building Environment Career Fair hosted at the University of Minnesota, seven of our C.F.M.S.A students defended the championship title on the Annual Quiz Bowl. Our students competed against other Construction Management Students from UW-Stout, University of Northern Iowa, Mankato, Moorhead, South Dakota State University and North Dakota State University. Proudly and fortunately two of our Executive Members; Levi Erickson and Meir Avila, together with Matt Hawk defended the title one more time  and became Quiz Bowl Champions for 5th time!!! #RowTheBoat

- The HUB Apartments Tour -

On January 29, of 2018 CFMSA and the GMGT Alumni Association toured the HUB Apartments on Washington Avenue, Minneapolis. We had a presentation regarding the project at the McNamara Alumni Center and proceeded to tour and discussed with the PM in charge of the unforseen about externalities that have affected the project

- Vikings New Training Camp Tour -

On January 29, of 2018 CFMSA and the GMGT Alumni Association toured the HUB Apartments on Washington Avenue, Minneapolis. - Target Center Additions Tour/ Timberwolves Vs. Rockets Game -

On February 13, of 2018 C.F.M.S.A, MCA Constructium Program, and the GMGT Alumni Association toured the Target Field in Downtown Minneapolis. We looked and discussed with Jim Beaton, former employee of the Timberwolves Organization, at the new additions and renovations of $150,000,000 made to the T-Wolves home such as the new glass facade and entrance, addition of a beer garden, and new skyway that connects the stadium with a parking ramp. The tour was proceeded by watching the Minnesota Timberwolves Vs. Houston Rockets game and ended with a picture in the main court after the game was done. #LetsGoWolves.
